Comfort Zone

The weekend turned out very nice. I went Saturday to a baby shower. The mom-to-be is someone that I have not seen since 8th grade and reunited on Facebook. It was a joy to be invited - I was very much out of my comfort zone as I only knew the mom and her mother and we haven't seen each other in years. She is still just as sweet as the day I remember her and after awhile I was able to converse with some of the other women. I did some people watching and found it intriguing to watch how we women interact with one another. I have also come to the conclusion that regardless of the social status, we all seem to think along the same lines. Of course, there are varying levels of morals and backgrounds but in that type of setting - we were all equal - refreshing.

Speaking of getting out my comfort zone, I was a greeter yesterday at church AND I wrote a second article for the church newsletter. You know what, I am feeling pretty good about it too. My brother's GF also gave me a lead to Online Teaching jobs through the Babbs company - only $7 a month and I have already gotten a bunch of e-mails. Wish me luck. How was your weekend? I absolutely love this dress below, I got it from Monroe & Main. Hope you have a great week!!

I think it's good to get out of your comfort zone, at the beginning it's kind of odd but then, like you said we are able to see things from different perspectives.
