Just a peek into what is going on Tennessee, my car would not go up the driveway, but it's Friday and my company attire is casual on Fridays. Too bad that when I go shopping for clothes I tend to always think of buying for business attire for work that I don't have very many "week-end" clothes. I tend to really like the trendy clothes but fear looking ridiculous or that I am unaccepting that I am now 40, which I guess wouldn't be entirely untrue, besides isn't 40 the new 20? I don't usually wear tennis shoes so I did mature my look in that way, baby steps.
I also struggle with my weight and appearance which is why I love to read Sally (Already Pretty), reminds me that I need to make myself happy and not others. I want to convey the attitude of youthfulness and class with a touch of tasteful sexy :) My favorite places to shop are usually online but will visit Catos and JcPenny in person. Outfit today: scarf - gift blouse - thrifted gouchos: Catos boots: Jessica London. I love my gouchos so much that I wear them year round, putting sandals with them in warm weather and boots in the fall/winter. Does your company allow you to dress casual on Friday and if so, what do you normally wear? Do you prefer jeans and t-shirts or do you prefer to stay "dressy" with jeans? Do you think it's appropriate to wear trouser jeans on non-casual days? I really like the wide leg trouser jeans and have been wondering what others thought of them.
BTW don't you think that comforter looks FAB with that wall color - soooo by accident but when I pulled out my winter comforters saw it and said BINGO!!! :)
